Our Story
Godiva Voluntary Medical Responders, are a registered charity, who are committed to investing our time, expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause.
The group was established in 2019 in which the group self funded and purchased essential equipment including a decommissioned RRV (Rapid Response Vehicle), Zoll Defibrillator and many other items. We have been supporting our community in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. We have attended a number of Emergency calls and have often arrived first on scene , in which we can access the patient reassure and offer the appropriate assistance within are trained parameters. The Group has a wealth of knowledge and experience with over 50 years experience between the members with involvement in the First Aid sector and working in the emergency services .
